because decisions about money – and how to treat it – are personal. and unless you live in an authoritarian state, then these things should continue to be as such.
First off try posting your question somewhere other than the singles and dating forum…
Second, it probably should be a college course because nobody knows anything about good, old fashioned budgeting.
The only reason I can think of why it shouldn’t be required is because people go to college to get a specifically tailored education to their interests and they shouldn’t be forced to learn about finance if they don’t want to.
The only reason that I can think of is that it should have been taught in high school. College courses should be for college-level material, and personal finance doesn’t qualify.
It should not be a required college course because to me it is not important and a waist of student money. You can play Monopoly and learn all you need to know. Other than that just SAVE SAVE SAVE!
If your dad/mom’s a billionaire and you know you’re way too rich that no matter how many times you screw up money, you’re still gonna have more than enough, you shouldn’t have to take it.
